ZANZIBAR BILLIARDS was founded in the belief that everyone should have access to affordable quality entertainment. ZANZIBAR BILLIARDS is one of Denver's top destinations, bringing people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels together under one roof.had Our grand opening was in November of 2009. We are a local family based business.

It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to open. The building was built around the turn of the century or before.  It has been beautifully restored by the descendants of the original owner. My brothers and I did almost everything from top to bottom. We built the bar, the Statue of Liberty crown replica, sanded the floor, tiled the bathrooms, built the patio, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned and the list goes on. It took us almost 1 year to open Zanzibar. We welded an amazing Statue of Liberty crown that is above the bar. The biggest replica West of the Mississippi. Zanzibar has a very New York feel to it.

We are very happy to say that not only do we help a lot of people by employing them so they can provide for their families but we are also a great addition to the block. We are a part of the revitalization project in the Ball Park neighborhood.  And we offer a comfortable, classy and hip place for locals to hang out.
